Flitter Draws Stuff
A sketchblog for doodles, dumps, and all related artsy things I do.
Flitter Draws Stuff
Because I like blue.
I don’t feel like scanning it….a very half baked attempt at Day 2.

The Great Facebook Portraits Project of Twenty-Thirteen: Part 1.
Took on the ambitious project of doing portraits of everyone on my Facebook friends list before the year ends.  The total when I started was 211 people.  Not all of them are going to be successful.  Some might even be experimental.  So far they have just been in marker, and have been attempts at getting better at eyeballing things.
So that my sketchblog won’t be entirely portraits, I have a tumblr set up exclusively for this project, which you can follow here.
I may periodically upload a photoset of 4-6 of my favorite results.

Serene!  I noticed while coloring this that I’m paying more attention to form shadow than I used to.
It was dark and I couldn’t see so I just grabbed whatever colors.
My sisser.
Art Improvement Challenge — Day 1: Self portrait and Introduction.
Hi, I’m Josephine!   I’m an 18 year old full time student, and a gigantic dork.  I spend most of my time drawing.  I enjoy friendly small-scale social interaction, solitary walks, good literature, and sugary foods.
Playing with design for a bigger piece.
So I was pretty excited right after midnight, because 2013 is so full of promise and potential.  And I was probably the slightest bit tipsy… So this.
Bad scan (there’s a blurry part) of a thing I did sometime last week.  I unno, I was listening to the song and it applied to the characters, so I just doodled to it, and yup.  Yes I did leave her arm uncolored, and yes I did basically  not draw their hands.

Complimentaryish color doodles from last night.  I just scribbled things down really fast and didn’t think about anything.

pumpkinbeanz:

Some figure drawing I did today.  First time doing it outside of a classroom setting.  The poses were all really short so I didn’t quite get to work on them like I wanted to, and the scanner kind of lost some of the shading.  But ah well.

Random colored doodle (watercolour and colored pencil).

Updated scanned version.
My part of an art trade with my irl art friend, Cruxia here on tumblr.
I just had a drawing and then for some reason I was like “LOL I’M GONNA COLOR IT” even though I know from experience all attempts to color at night never go as planned 6n6  So yes.
Drawing outside an losing the light. Gonna work more on it later.
